Religious Heritage Conservation and Community Engagement under the Threshold of Heritage Revitalisation in Ningxia

Abstract.Heritage revitalisation and community engagement are essential for the conservation of religious cultural heritage. Heritage revitalisation reuses historic buildings and places as useful resources for the community. Community engagement, on the other hand, involves community residents in the process of cultural heritage conservation and inheritance, so that they can better comprehend and inherit their own religious cultural heritage. Based on the perspective of heritage revitalisation, this paper will analyse the conservation value of religious heritage in Ningxia and explore the path of community engagement in heritage conservation.
